a public artwork created for the duration AusFlugHavenSicht, part of the International Festival Theater der Welt.
a freely accessible viewing platform situated in a field at the end of the village of Kursdorf looking onto the departing and arriving plane of Leipzig/Halle’s airport.
an ephemeral structure made up of 500 blue B12089 wood CHEP pallets. CHEP is the world’s leading company in pallet pooling services, dealing with over 200 million pallets world wide everyday.
a 5m high x 7m wide x 7m deep monumental blue sculpture on which to sunbath, have a picnic, dream of travelling, admire to surroundings, talk about globalisation, argue about politics, spend the night…
a new public space that has been adopted by festival goers, plane spotters, artists, local residents, lovers, the police and others.
a contemplation platform form which you can see the WORLD airline’s passengers and cargo airplanes transporting American troops and material from the USA to Iraq and back.
